Tour: • Magic Tour (1986) Date: 22nd July 1986 Venue: Stadthalle City: Vienna, Austria Used recording(s): • Audience recording (A): Silvers ► EAC ► WAV ► TLH ► FLAC (level 8) Released by Wardour as "Vienna Magic"; Shared by defdoubtnir This second night in Vienna wouldn't only turn out to be Queen's last ever show in Austria, but also their final indoor concert ever. Although Freddie sounds mostly fine tonight, the band decides to skip out on "In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited" at the start of the medley as they had done in Zürich. An audience member filmed at least parts of the show in quite good quality; about a minute of said footage has leaked onto YouTube. ( • Queen - Live in Vienna (July 22nd, 1986) -... ) While it's certainly not one of the best shows on the tour, there are a few performances that do stand out and deserve a listen, including "Another One Bites the Dust", the Impromptu as well as Brian's guitar solo and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", all ranking among the best performances on the tour. Unfortunately, "Hammer to Fall" is plagued by instruments going out of tune. 00:00:00 - 01. One Vision 00:06:28 - 02. Tie Your Mother Down 00:10:29 - 03. Seven Seas of Rhye 00:11:51 - 04.
