The funniest parts of Roberto Benigni's section of Night On Earth (1991) Dir. Jim Jarmusch, a film comprised of five stories of taxi drivers' experiences across the world, all in one night. It's (like Down By Law) also one of my favourite Jarmusch's, and also free on YouTube, so you should definitely watch it! In Benigni's section in the film, he plays an Italian Taxi Driver in Rome, who constantly cracks jokes and quips, exceeds the speed limits excessively (almost all of the time), and seems to find one-way streets rather demeaning! He picks up a sick Priest and forces him to listen to his confessions, and as while Benigni is admitting to his numerous sins in a humorous manner, he doesn't seem to notice the Priest slowly dying in the back! It's my favourite segment in the film, which I think is a masterpiece!
