We are pleased to bring you our latest seminar from our Winter-Spring Webinar Series. “Updates on CAR T-Cell Therapy”– presented by Dr Rob Weinkove. Dr Weinkove took us through an informative and clear summary of the current landscape of CAR T-cell therapy around the world and introduced us to the work he is doing here in New Zealand at the Malaghan Institute with Phase 1 trials. Dr Robert Weinkove is a Haematologist at Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre, and Clinical Director at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research (MIMR). Rob leads a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell development programme at the Malaghan Institute, and is the Principal Investigator for ‘ENABLE’, New Zealand’s phase I CAR T-cell trial.
