Morpeth clinch FA Vase victory

MORPETH Town continued their march towards Wembley when they clinched a place in the semi-finals of the FA Vase in Northumberland today. Goals at 13 minutes and in the dying seconds of the game gave them a 2-0 victory over Bristol Manor Farm at Craik Park. A crowd of more than 700 watched an entertaining encounter which Morpeth richly deserved to win, despite a nail biting second half which saw the visitors turn up the heat but fail to find the net.
