On today’s Studyball, we are going to take a look at Tom Brady against the Rams defense. This Rams defense got after Tom Brady early. Threw a bunch of different pressures at him early to get him uncomfortable in the pocket. That’s what you have to do to him. You let him stand back there, feel comfortable, he is going to make play after play. Even though he threw for a lot of yards in this game, he was uncomfortable quite often. It started because of the pressure packages they threw at him early. And then it comes down to Aaron Donald and company getting after him throughout the course of the game. They will move him around and they will get him in different situations where they can match him up. Whether it’s a guard or even a tackle with some of the issues the Bucs have with their offensive line. They can move them around in different places to get him the best matchup in 1-on-1 situations. That is going to be critical in this game. Both sides really. The Bucs having to block Aaron Donald and him getting home with that pass rush and making Tom Brady uncomfortable. So there is a look at what happened in the first round. What the Rams defense was able to do against this Bucs team to get after Tom Brady. To get his feet moving in the other direction. To see him move fast and panicked instead of holding in the pocket and making the plays down the field, can they get after him once again?
