How to optimize DBFZ for PC (and other fighting games as well)

As a result of the confusion around the PC port of DBFZ that exists within the community, I decided to make an in-depth tutorial with tips and utilities for newcomers and seasoned players alike to help you get set up on what you need to make the best out of your online experience. Copy and paste this address right at the top bar: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options 3. Right click on the folder where the address took you and create a new key called: RED-Win64-Shipping.exe 4. Right click on this new folder you created and make another key called: PerfOptions 5. After having done this, click on this PerfOptions folder and create a new 32 bit DWORD file called: CpuPriorityClass 6. Double click on this new file you created, and change the value data to 3. Then hit OK. Resources (listed in order of appearance)! PS4 input delay test (by @noodalls):   / 961933712177819648   PC input delay test (by @WydD): https://twitter.com/WydD/status/10110... Bufferbloat test site: http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest Netlimiter site: https://www.netlimiter.com/ Q&A! 1. Can I do this for X game? Outside of step number 4, yes, probably, although I can not necessarily guarantee steps 1-3 will do you any better on every game. It seems to be more effective on those of 3D nature, since they tend to be more taxing on the hardware and have relatively high native input delay. I'd most definitely suggest it for UE4 games though, such as Tekken 7 or GBVS. I've had people from those communities tell me it helped. 2. Wait... how is 4 frames on PC the same as offline PS4? As explained, the consoles have an added extra frame of input delay on top of their V-Sync implementation, something that's not present on the PC version. The V-Sync implementation of UE4 can add up to 3 frames of total native input delay (there are multiple tests on the internet you can research that showcase this). You do the math. It's no surprise as to why even Japanese pro players who get 1F of delay with each other still complain about how sluggish the experience can be, and why they want Bandai to release the game on JP Steam. 3. Can I swap Player 1 side without launching Big Picture mode? As far as I'm aware, no. It's a feature exclusive to it. 4. Should I leave Game Mode on using Windows 10? From what I've read/experienced, it can actually slightly reduce input delay by around 5ms, and help with performance. So, unless you're experiencing some serious issues with it, I'd leave it on. 5. I know for certain my game's running at a locked 60. Can I toggle those system stats off while retaining the Rivatuner cap? Yes, just toggle Show On-Screen Display off. 6. Can I personalize how my system stats look? Yes, I showcase it on the video actually lol. You can change size, color and font. If you want to change the font, go to the setting where it says "On-Screen Display Rendering Mode", and double click on "Raster 3D". 7. Will these settings still work properly if I run the game on Windowed/Borderless Windowed mode? No. When you run the game on either mode, the Windows Desktop Manager takes over and enforces its V-Sync implementation into it, even while having the setting off in-game. 8. What do you have against WiFi players? Mine is pretty fast dood. If you haven't already seen it for yourself, I suggest giving this video a watch:    • Why Wi-fi Sucks for Gaming!   9.
