What To Do With Old Vases | Vase Makeover Ideas | Using Stone Effect Spray Paint | Upcycling Vases
There are so many interesting ways to upcycle old vases to match your current décor. Just a can of spray paint can make a difference - but why not take it further? Not only do I use spray paint in this video, I use rope, a cable, drywall compound, Stone Effect spray paint, wood and even caulking. I need some cream coloured décor pieces. Why go and buy more vases when I have the sizes and shapes I like already? Umm...but none of them are cream! This is the perfect excuse for some DIY time. I dig into my craft stash for some inspiration, look up some inspiration pictures and get to work. I was really excited to try the Stone Effect spray paint. I've never used this before and it didn't disappoint. Not only does it look good - It's really fun to spray! I also never used an S-Cable or caulking before and that didn't turn into a DIY disaster. Now on the other hand, I did have a paint can try to shot me...I think. Whether you are updating some of your outdated pieces or you just picked up something new-to-you from a thrift shop, I hope these three very different project give you some inspiration.
