Another 42 Miles On the NCT - Pictured Rocks Hike II, Grand Marais to Munising, MI - Jun 2018

Documenting a hike through Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, June 15-18, 2018. 42 miles of the North Country Trail (NCT). 4 days and 3 nights of hiking, backpacking, and camping. We started day 1 at Grand Sable Falls Visitor Center then hiked 7.1 miles to camp at Au Sable East, stopping at Masse Homestead and the Log Slide on our way. Day 2 we left Au Sable East then hiked 10.9 miles to camp at Trappers Lake, stopping at 12 Mile Beach on our way. Day 3 we left Trappers Lake then hiked 15.5 miles to camp at Potato Patch, stopping at Chapel Beach on our way. Day 4 we left Potato Patch then hiked 8.9 miles to Munising Falls, ending our hike, we stopped at Miners Castle on our way.
