(VALID TONES) WideOpenWest (WOW!) EAS - Chicago Area Tornado Warning (08/23/2007) (RECREATION)

"Sonja, since when did you work for the Weather Service!?" - Heathcliff Shown here is a recreation of how a Tornado Warning would've looked like on a WideOpenWest (WOW!) cable system in the Chicagoland Area in the late 2000's. This was a real warning issued by the National Weather Service forecast office in Chicago, Illinois (LOT/CHI) on the afternoon of August 23rd, 2007. And, fun fact, it's also the oldest EAS capture by ‪@tor94‬! I didn't really plan a perfect timing for this one, aside from Heathcliff's take upon seeing Sonja timed to the DTMF tones and a blunder from Wile E. Coyote after the guy changed channels again. Usual credit to ‪@xyzlojones‬ for the Audacity audio macros used in this video, as well as extra credit to paulhobby19 for the period correct Boomerang screen bug. FAIR USE DISCLAIMER: I do not own "Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats" or "Looney Tunes". WildBrain and Warner Bros. do. So if you see anything strange happen to this video, just be reminded that it's them. PS: I hope you like it, ‪@lightningbolt99999‬!
