Custom Door Panels - Ford Econoline Van Build Part 4

Custom Door Panels - Ford Econoline Van Build Part 4

In this video we go over my method for creating custom van door panels out of plywood. I utilize the dead space in the door by cutting out some of the sheet metal to make room for storage boxes inset into the door itself. This makes for a super clean panel that is contoured to the factory door curves and doesn't take up any space on the inside of the van. By having the panels flush, I can build the bed and kitchen as close to the doors as possible, maximizing the space. Remove the factory plastic panels, break out the angle grinder and make some functional custom door panels that look super clean. This is part 4 of my Ford Econoline Extended E350 15 passenger van conversion to micro camper!
