Friday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Cool temps this weekend in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, October 6, 2023. Friday is off to a rainy start. Will it last forever? Nope! While a few showers are possible throughout the day, we'll sneak in some dry time and even some sunshine prior to additional rain returns. Highs today will be on the seasonal side. We'll be near 70°, but the idea of near-normal temperatures is a goner come tomorrow. Highs for the weekend...and Monday will hang in the low to mid 50s. The reinforcing cool air is all thanks to yet another front on the move. This front will bring additional rain chances with it, too. We'll have on-and-off rain for some than others thanks to our wind direction. We take on a northerly breeze which brings Lake Erie into play. Lake effect rain showers are possible Saturday through Monday, so some of you will see more rain than others. Remember, the lake really has a mind of its own; therefore, clouds and sun peeks are possible. It'll be breezy both days, too. I'd opt for indoor plans this weekend.
