Final Fantasy VI Steam Anti-Norm - Brachiosaur (No Ejections, No Reraise)

Game: Final Fantasy VI Port: Steam ANTI-NORM RULES ================ Active Mode No Ultima/Quick No Phantom Rush No Valiant Knife/Ultima Weapon No Master's Scroll Amongst the encounters in Dinosaur Forest, there is the Brachiosaur, the most destructive normal enemy in the game. If slain, it nets some hefty rewards and has potentially good items on it if you manage to get them (Celestriad drops and Ribbon Steals, plus 10 AP). I was caught off guard leveling up my team, but I manage to slip the record button in and film this attempt with an all out offense under Anti-Norm... and won. Thus proving you don't need those overpowered strategies to win this game. I'll post a version with Gau when I can. I'll probably do it after my run up Cultist Tower. PLAN ===== The reason this beast gets a lot of rap is it's attacks. It can either attack or cast Disaster (mass status effects), Meteor (3500 damage to hands, Snort (ejects 1 or all members) and Ultima (6500 damage all hands and pretty much Game Over without Reraise). There are two strategies to pull this off: Full out offense and turtle. Full out offense is bomb him with Blizzaga and whatever high end attacks you have. If you get lucky with Slow, it helps immensely (only effect that works on this boss, other than Poison) and pray his special attacks (executed every turn with a 33% except 4th attack) don't go off. Turtling is you will need Celes or Gogo with Runic and try to use to block Ultima on the 4th attack and Disaster on the 1st while maintaining Reraise, praying he doesn't Snort people out of battle.
