Graham Hoadly in a scene from "Blunt" 1986; with Anthony Hopkins & Ian Richardson

Short scene from the BBC spy film "Blunt" made in 1986 at Ealing Studios, starring Ian Richardson as Anthony Blunt and Anthony Hopkins as Guy Burgess. I played Jimmy, who was described to me by director John Glenister as a former lover of Burgess - a "chorus boy gone to seed" - who had since dwindled into his valet! Apparently, the character had existed! The set for this scene, supposed to be a flat at Clifford Chambers, Burlington Arcade, was in fact built on the same soundstage at Ealing that had housed the enormous water tank used in the Jack Hawkins film "The Cruel Sea"!
