IVF | Egg Retrieval | Cycle Day 13 | May 6, 2019

Good news, they were able to retrieve 13 eggs today. Originally we were told we have 9 follicles on Friday. We're very excited! They will call us tomorrow to let us know how many are fertilized (embryos). Synchronicity: I think 13 is our "lucky number". 13 eggs retrieved on day cycle 13. My nurse's son's 13th birthday and I did a total of 13 injection to get ready for today's retrieval. May 7 update: 5 frozen eggs 1 egg didn't make the 2nd day 7 were able to be fertilized May 11 update: After 5 days, 3 blastocyst are at high grade. The other 4 are being observed till Monday (May 13).
