What happens when a narcissist gets jealous is they will use projection and blame shifting and make you to be the problem. They will project their own insecurities onto you and gaslight you into believe you have done something wrong. So, do narcissists ever become jealous? Yes! They are often jealous because of their unstable sense of self. The narcissist also has fragile ego and they will most definitely be sensitive to anything they think is a slight against them. They can’t talk through things so when they feel wronged they will become angry and engage in the narcissist rage or the silent treatment.
