Kim Jong-un has 'given his word' in commitment toward denuclearization: Seoul's FM

강경화 장관, "김정은 비핵화 약속했어" South Korea's top diplomat says North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has "given his word" to denuclearize... ahead of the back-to-back inter-Korean and U.S.-North Korea summits. Speaking to CBS on Sunday, Kang Kyung-wha said "the significance of his word is weighty in the sense that this is the first time that the words came directly from the North Korean supreme leader himself,..." adding that it's something that has never been done before. Kang said the issue of denuclearization is a concern not just for the U.S. but for South Korea.
