Concerned Georgians, and members of Stop Plant Vogtle held a press conference on Jan 31 , 2013 outside the Georgia Public Service Commission before heading inside to the PSC Energy Committee meeting to raise concerns about the Vogtle reactor core vessel accident earlier this month and ask why the PSC has been silent on the issue. On December 15, a Schnabel rail car carrying 330 ton reactor protection vessel (RPV) from the Port of Savannah to Plant Vogtle became compromised when it misaligned with the RPV, which is still sitting in the port. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Pardon me boys is that the Georgia Power choo choo, On track number 4 That dropped the nuclear core?
