Let's Talk Tropics! August 27, 2025
Fernand is in its last days and will gradually transition to a non-tropical low. The rest of the Atlantic is very quiet considering it's the peak of the hurricane season. Several waves are in the Atlantic and Caribbean, but nothing is showing signs of organization. Things could get active again in a couple of weeks as the Central American Gyre gets moving again. A daily chat about what's going on in the Tropical Weather World with Meteorologist Dave Baker. We'll look at the Tropical Weather Outlook, check satellites, and determine what tropical waves have the potential to develop into full tropical systems.
