Various shots, people cheering STORYLINE: Representatives from New York's broad spectrum of faiths took to the field of Yankee Stadium on Sunday for a flag-draped prayer vigil honouring the victims of the attack on the World Trade Center. The service, called a "A Prayer for America", mixed solemn words with patriotic and inspirational songs. The crowd waved American flags, sang along and chanted "USA! USA". One after another, members of the clergy - Jews, Roman Catholics, Muslims, Hindus, Protestants, Sikhs, Greek Orthodox - stepped up to offer prayers. Cardinal Edward Egan, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of New York, asked God to care for the World Trade Center dead and heal the injured. New York's mayor Rudolph Giuliani was one of several political leaders on hand for the service, including former President Bill Clinton, his wife and New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and New York Governor George Pataki. After the service, Giuliani told reporters that after more checking of lists of those unaccounted for, the number of missing has risen by more than 100, to 6,453.
