In a special conversation with Mirror Now, AIIMS director, Dr. Randeep Guleria explains the post-COVID symptoms, and the measures that need to be kept in mind while dealing with the novel Coronavirus. Dr. Randeep Guleria discussed the COVID peak in the country and how the cases are constantly seeing a rise and fall. However, Dr. Guleria mentioned that the situation can turn worrisome in the upcoming months, during the festivals. It is during that time that the people need to follow social distancing norms and the mask wearing protocol. Furthermore, AIIMS director also added that if we want the plateau to happen and are waiting for the plateau to come down, everyone needs to practice social distancing as well there is a need for aggressive testing of COVID cases.
