LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (Xbox Series X) (Xclusive Playthrough - Part 162) The Space Race

Check out part 162 of my Xclusive Playthrough featuring the game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga! This game released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles on April 5th, 2022. It was developed by TT Games and published by Warner Brothers Games. In this video, I free-play the Assault on Echo Base & the Never Tell Me the Odds levels to complete the additional challenges along with collecting the minikits. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a LEGO-themed action-adventure game which adapts all nine entries in the Skywalker Saga series of movies. It is also the sixth entry in the TT Games' LEGO Star Wars series of video games. Most LEGO games from TT Games sees the player advance through the story in linear order, however, this game features a huge hub as it's not just a single area, but rather a series of planets (23 planets in total to be exact) that the player can explore at their leisure. The player also has the option to start the game from any of the three Skywalker Saga trilogies and complete them in any order they wish. Each individual episode is made up of five story missions which adds up to a total of 45 levels. The combat in this entry has also been revamped and it feels a lot more fluid. For example, lightsaber wielders are able to use a variety of combos comprised of light attacks, heavy attacks and Force moves while blaster characters have an over-the-shoulder camera. The game also features a total of 380 playable characters which include characters that are not only found within the Skywalker movies, but also other movies as well. One of the newest additions to the game (and something that I feel like will become a fan favorite) is the "Mumble Mode", which allows the player to switch between the actual voice acting during cutscenes or have them mumble and grumble just like the original LEGO games from TT Games back in the day. The gameplay in this game (just like in all of the LEGO games) is very simple so that players of all ages can enjoy them. The game mostly focuses on exploration and combat while also adding in building elements into the mix. The whole world (along with all of the characters) is made up LEGO bricks and the player is able to destroy most of the objects that they come across. Sometimes, those objects break into actual build pieces which the player can use to build something that will be useful to them in some way, shape, or form. For example, the player can build a bridge to help them across a large gap or a turret to destroy a wall that prevents them from moving forward. The game also features many collectibles for the player to collect such as studs (which is the primary currency of the game), mini-kits, data cards & Kyber Bricks. The player will most likely spend most of their time exploring the hub world and all of the different planets as there is so much to do and see in those areas. Each different world contains many different events/side missions that the player can complete which grant you rewards such as new characters to unlock. Finally, with regards to the achievements in this game: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga includes a total of 45 achievements for a total of 1000 GS. The LEGO games are known to be fairly easy completions, however, they are not necessarily quick completions. The game itself (the main story) may take around 20 hours to complete, however, a full 100% completion may take as much as 80 hours to complete. Most of the achievements are story related, exploration related & 100% completion related, however, there are also a few miscellaneous achievements such as shooting helmets off of 50 enemies & defeating 3 enemies at the same time with an explosion. Thankfully the game is very open-ended & fully replayable so cleaning up the achievements is usually a really easy task.
