Mau Mau freedom fighters seek the States help in claiming compensation from the British govt.

The Mau Mau Veterans renewed their plea to the Kenyan government to take up the issue of their compensation in a government to government negotiation with the British government. Speaking during the first Anniversary since the launch of the Mau Mau monument at Uhuru Park, the Mau Mau Fighters said its only with the government intervention that the fighters who did not benefit in the initial payout will be compensated.
