James Hibbert, an artist potter in the Okanagan Valley, prides himself on using sustainable materials and practices to make a wide range of pottery and ceramic art. James has always been fascinated with pottery and the techniques used to create it.​ He uses several firing techniques including Raku, Saggarware, medium and high temperature stoneware to achieve a wide variety of color texture and form. His works reflect the natural beauty of the Okanagan area.
