France launches massive airstrike against IS; widens investigations

France carried out massive airstrikes against the Islamic State on late Sunday, targeting the Islamic State’s de-facto capital of al-Raqqa in Syria. The operation destroyed a training camp and a key command center in Raqqa, where Iraqi intelligence officials say the Friday terror attacks on Paris were planned, which killed at least 129 and wounded hundreds more.
