Instagram – elyucateco_hotsauce Facebook – /elyucateco Twitter - @elyucateco Pinterest - /elyucateco Reddit - /elyucateco_hotsauce YouTube - /elyucateco_hotsauce El Yucateco “Shrimp Stir Fry with Homemade Teriyaki Sauce" Ingredients Needed for Teriyaki Sauce: 1/4 cup of your favorite Soy Sauce 1/3 cup Water 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic 2 teaspoons Minced Ginger 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice 1.5 teaspoons Sesame Oil 1/2 ounce El Yucateco Marisquera Black Sauce 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (for use later) Ingredients for Stir Fry: 1 pound of Shrimp (any size of your preference) 3 cups of Mixed Vegetables (your choice) Salt & Black Pepper to taste 2 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil (1 for the Vegetables and 1 for the Shrimp) Garnish with Green Onion/Sesame Seeds or whatever you like You may serve with Rice if you wish Directions for Sauce: Place all sauce ingredients (except for cornstarch) into a small sauce pot and heat on medium-high heat, stir frequently and bring to a boil for 1 minute to dissolve sugar. Add 2 tablespoons of water to cornstarch , mix until dissolved and add to pot while stirring and continue to stir for 1 minute a sauce thickens. Once sauce is set, remove from heat and set aside. Directions for Stir Fry: Preheat a frying pan or Wok to medium high heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once heated, place vegetables into pan/wok. Cook for several minutes stirring frequently until vegetables are cooked to your liking, then remove from pan/wok and set aside. Re-heat pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once heated, place shrimp into pan/wok and stir frequently until cooked. The shrimp with become pink or opaque when done. Add vegetables back into pan, add teriyaki sauce (reserve some for drizzle) stir well and plate up! You may serve with rice and garnish with green onions as well as sesame seeds if you wish.
