Car Not Connecting To Garage Remote (Homelink Fix)
I fixed my “Genie Garage door opener not connecting to my cars home link issue” in this video. My car would not connect to my Genie silent Max 1000 garage door opener. At first I didn’t know if it was an issue with my car’s Homelink system or if the Genie garage door opener with intelicode was the problem. I also wondered if my problem was that my Lexus would not connect to my garage door opener. I would program my car’s homelink using the remote control but the car would not sync to my garage door opener. I discovered that the “car not connecting to the garage door problem” was the Genie three button remote control. (Model 2.0.3) I purchased a different garage door remote control model that was compatible with newer versions of Homelink found in newer cars and also compatible with Genie garage door openers with intellicode. The Genie remote control that I purchased was the Genie One Button remote control. In this video I show you step by step how to sync the Genie one button remote control to your garage door open and how to sync the Genie one button remote to your cars Homelink system. The final step is to sync your cars Homelink to your garage door opener.
