Fuji also known as "fuji-san" Japan's highest mountain 3,776 m. / 12,389 ft. From Shinjuku Bus Terminal to Mount Fuji 5th station it's around 5 hours of travel time. (We booked our travel online prior Japan) On the 5th station, there's a restaurant/mini mart with toilet. You can also buy a stick support with bells (our souvenir stick was left on the bus because we are both drained and out of mind) and mini oxygen (the air is very thin towards the summit.) Our starting point is on 5th Station We start to climb around 10:00 pm (you must have head lamp, gloves, rain coat, trail food/kitkat) please wear a triple layer of coat and leggings. We brought our wifi pocket on the peak and still accessible. We used the yoshida trail up to summit. Bullet climb/Overnight climb is not recommended. We started to climb even if its raining, there is a honesty toilet on the road (unguarded but you need to pay for maintenance) Each station has a store you can buy noodles/miso soup/oxygen(the price is double as you approach the summit) Bed room is also available for you to rest and to get warm. Along the way we are both tired but we choose to support than ignore each other. We sang repeatedly while climbing "Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream...." It's exhausting but you only need to pray, set your mind and focus. "Mind over matter" DAY 4 / 03 Jul 17 Tsukiji Market Matcha Ice Cream Takoyaki Sushi Etc...
