Opposing Force (OPFOR) Surrogate Vehicles (OSVs) with 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, staged an assault on the defenses of 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division from Fort Carson, Colorado at the Fort Irwin National Training Center. The OSV is an M113 chassis outfitted with a modified M2 Bradley turret and visually modified to replicate the Russian BMP-2 (Infantry Fighting Vehicle).
