Leviticus 23:9-10… Verses 17-18… The Apostle tells us that even though the branches (Israel) are broken off, we are not to boast that we have been grafted in because the root (Israel) supports the branches, not we ourselves. Jeremiah 11:15-16… 1st Corinthians 10:12… Verses 19-20… If we say the branches were broken off so that we could be grafted in, we must remember they were broken off because of unbelief. We stand by faith, but we should not be proud, but fear. Proverbs 28:14… Romans 12:3… Philippians 2:12-13… Verse 21… Paul warns if God did not spare the natural branches (Israel), take heed lest He also spares not us. Lamentations 3:21-24 … Hebrews 10:31… Verse 22… The Apostle speaks of the goodness and severity of God: the severity of God fell on Israel, but goodness fell on the Gentiles if we continue in His goodness, lest we also be cut off. John 15:1-7… 1 Corinthians 15:1-2… Verse 23… Paul says of Israel, that if they repent of unbelief, God will also graft them back in as well. 2nd Corinthians 3:14-16… Verse 24… We are reminded that we were grafted into a good olive tree, so how much more can the natural branches be grafted into their own original olive tree? Jeremiah 32:17… Matthew 19:26… Verse 25… Paul tells us that we should not be uninformed about this mystery and be temped to be wise in our own conceits, because the blindness that Israel experienced happened so that we Gentiles could be brought in. Proverbs 3:7… Luke 21:20-24… Acts 13:44-47… ——————————————————
