#homemade #dahiphulkirecipe #dahibhalla #dahivada #dahibhalay Dahi Phulkiyan Serving 4-5 persons Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Mong daal atta (Yellow lentil flour) ¾ Cup -Besan (Gram flour) ¼ Cup -Pani (Water) approx. ¾ Cup or as required -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Baking soda ½ tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste -Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp -Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tsp -Cooking oil for frying -Pani (Water) as required -Dahi (Yogurt) 1 kg -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup or to taste -Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup -Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed -Chaat masala Directions: -In bowl,add yellow lentil flour,gram flour and mix. -Gradually add water and mix continuously for 5 minutes with the help of the spatula. -Add salt,baking soda,red chili powder,cumin seeds and red chili crushed,mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes. -In wok,heat cooking oil and fry dumplings until golden brown & set aside. -Can be store in zip lock for up to 1 month in freezer. -In bowl,add water,dumplings and let them soak for 15 minutes,take them out,press and squeeze excess water. -In bowl,add yogurt,sugar,milk and whisk until smooth. -Add soaked dumplings and press gently. -Sprinkle red chili crushed,chaat masala & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Mong daal atta (Yellow lentil flour) ¾ Cup -Besan (Gram flour) ¼ Cup -Pani (Water) approx. ¾ Cup or as required -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Baking soda ½ tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste -Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp -Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tsp -Cooking oil for frying -Pani (Water) as required -Dahi (Yogurt) 1 kg -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup or to taste -Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup -Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed -Chaat masala Directions: -Bowl mein mong daal atta aur besan dal ker mix karein. -Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur spatula ki madad sa musalsal 5 minutes kliya ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Namak,baking soda,lal mirch powder,zeera aur lal mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 10 minutes kliya rakh dein. -Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur dumplings ko golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Zip lock bag mein dal ker 1 month kliya freeze ker saktay han. -Bowl mein pani aur dumpling dal dein aur 15 minutes kliya bhego dein phir nikla ker press aur squeeze ker lein. -Bowl mein dahi,cheeni aur doodh dal ker smooth hunay tak ache tarhan whisk ker lein. -Soaked dumpling dal dein aur gently press ker lein. -Lal mirch crushed aur chaat masala dal ker serve karein.
