Like many Formula 1 drivers, Felipe Massa began his career after finding a passion for go-karting at a young age. Throughout his career he's achieved a lot to be proud of, but describes winning a Grand Prix in his home country of Brazil in 2006 as the highlight of his career. He credits his father as his motivation for his career, for believing in his talents and supporting him throughout. Massa remains optimistic for the seasons ahead and has confidence in the new Williams car and engine. His advice for success is to work as a team, use the pressures of work as motivation, be honest and work in a role you really love. Transcript The first time I drove the go-kart it was like a dream come true. So I wanted to be a driver, to race, and I was thinking about that 24 hours a day. The first time I won at home, the first time I won a Brazilian Grand Prix in 2006 and I was wearing the colours of my country, it was really an incredible moment for me. The most important person whom without I would not be here, is my father. He never thought it was dangerous, my mum... yes, but my dad always believed in the way I was driving. This year the car is different, the engine is different. I'm pretty happy and optimistic that we can have a good season. Sometimes you find the limit of the car and you can pass the limit, but you know that in the race you can't drive every lap like that otherwise you won't have tyres and you'll over-use the car. To be successful I think you always need to work as a team and you need to have a great relationship with everybody you're working with. Never give up because you're learning more in the difficult days than in the good days and be honest; you need to be honest in everything you're doing. The pressure is always high, you need to use the pressure to give you more motivation; use it as a good thing. You have to have love for your job. Love is the most important thing.
