Flushing out the magnetite central heating trap (magnetic)

Almost two years ago I had to replace the central heating system because the old one had died. The heat exchanger was leaking internally, and unfortunately that is the most expensive part of the whole system :( After removing the old unit, I noticed a back deposit on the inside of the heating pipes. It turned out to be magnetite. And that is basically a form of black rust that is magnetic. So on the advice of my heating specialist I installed a Spirotech magnetic trap to catch that back stuff. Hopefully this will prolong the live of our new Remeha Avanta heating system a few years. Because the old one sounded like a patient with serious long covid and I'm sure that clogged and damaged the heat exchanger. F.Y.I. About twice every year I flush the trap out.
