[Weather] Monsoon rain until Sunday Downpours for Chungcheong-do provinces

모레까지 장맛비 충청도 집중호우 Heavy monsoon rain has been pounding large parts of South Korea. A substantial amount of rainfall will continue to lash inland regions. Extreme downpours are expected for Chungcheongnam-do and Jeollabuk-do provinces, with up to 400 millimeters in the forecast. The surrounding regions, including parts of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province will see up to 300 millimeters. Periods of local downpours will vary depending on the region. For Chungcheong-do and Jeollabuk-do provinces, downpours of 50 to 100 millimeters per hour are expected. Southern Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do and Jeollanam-do provinces will see 30 to 80 millimeters per hour. This round of severe rainfall is set to contain some heavy winds as well, with the possibility for thunder and lightning. Inland regions will see winds gusting as fast as 15 meters per second. Wind gusts will be stronger for coastal regions. Morning temperatures will be in a similar range tomorrow. Seoul and Daejeon will start off at 24 degrees Celsius. Daytime highs in Seoul will get up to 28 degrees. Daejeon 27. Daegu and Gyeongju 30 degrees. Until early next week, monsoonal showers will continue.
