Zapling Bygone By 9FingerGames Is A Pretty Good Platformer Metroidvania Play Mask Tentacle Creature

This was one of the best platformer I've tried out in this stream. I was playing this game called Lone Fungus and this game demo for Zapling Bygone took me by surprise. It had so much content for the short time that I've played the demo so I might grab the full version ones it comes out. You play as this alien like green creature with tentacles. It wears these skulls that gives different abilities and looks. You also collect these power ups that upgrade your speed, movement, dashing, jumping abilities, healing ability and attacks. The controls were pretty tight and solid so as the difficulty increase as I got further it was okay because I was able to adapt to it right away. You will die a lot in this game because some falls will kill you instantly. You do have the ability to heal so you don't die in one hit from enemies and bosses. It's pretty fun though. I also like how the rats react to the Skull mask that makes them love you. lol That challenge section in the one area with timer and spikes is pretty hard but I manage to complete it.
