Just an update after getting my car serviced this past Thursday for my clutch pedal squeak, and throw out bearing noise during cold start (1/20), my service advisor informed me of a recently released fix for the clutch pedal squeak that replaces the entire clutch pedal and brake pedal assembly. Now the squeak noise is finally gone for good, and even the click sound is no longer there anymore during every clutch in process. I also mentioned about the throwout bearing whirling sounds on cold starts (I've had it forever to be honest) and I mentioned that even people who got it fixed, always had the problem come back. But now I was informed that Subaru released a new revision of the throwout bearing (a few weeks ago) that totally fixes the problem for good I was told. The issue is, this new throwout bearing is on high demadn now and on back order just about everywhere, so it would be smart to have a dealer check out your vehicle if you have this same problems so they can to also order the part which I wont have until mid February I was told.
