Thundering Swiss Air Force F-18D and C launch and recovery - Meiringen Air Base Switzerland
The second launch of the day from Monday 29th April 2019. The F-5E was followed by two F-18s - a D model and the Staffel 11 (Tigers) special tail F-18C. The noise in the valley when these guys go into burner is special. Ground-shakingly awesome and just seems to go deeper and deeper until is almost feels like the air is being sucked out of your lungs. Can't beat it! :)
