Weird feeling with this first episode : it's so cool to be back with these characters but I can't say I'm back in Euphoria. The big time jump between the seasons, in real life and in the story of the show, the fact that we lose the context of the high school to be at so many different places at the same time… it's already confusing. But it's also the mood which is different : we have the same way to film, but when the first seasons were brutally realistic and going deep with the subjects, here the subjects changed and it sometimes feels like a parody. Once all of that is said, I repeat it : it's great to be back with the characters, to know where they are now in their lives and in fact, all of their trajectories feel logical. Maddy as a girlboss but not considered yet for her real value, Lexie working in the cinematographic industry (after the theater scene ?? yup !), Cassie and Nate are equal to themselves, and Rue still in the illegal path… but being at her best, no ? Like, her talking about happiness and what she could do to reach it ? My girl seems fine for now, it's already a big yes. I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.
