Process: How it works in 2 runs: Run 1: Focus on Story and Collectibles In your first run, you'll earn most of the trophies automatically by completing the story. Here's the plan: Play on a low difficulty level and follow my 12-part walkthrough. This will guide you step-by-step through the game and show you all the missable trophies and collectibles. Important trophies in the first run: Here, you'll not only unlock most of the story trophies, but also trophies like breaking 50 windows or defeating a certain number of enemies. You'll also unlock 3 of the 8 possible endings. The remaining endings will come in the second run. Combat Trophies: For your first run, I recommend using mostly firearms to earn the trophy, which requires you to kill 75 enemies with ranged weapons. Run 2: Melee Combat and Complete Endings On your second run, focus on the remaining endings and primarily use melee weapons to earn the "Come Closer" gold trophy. This may sound harder than it is, but don't worry—with the chainsaw you have in NG+, all enemies, including the bosses, are a breeze. Trophies for Speedrunners: There's a special trophy that requires you to complete the game in under 10 hours. However, by the second run, you'll have already checked off many collectibles and trophies, so you'll easily meet this time limit. If you want to play it safe, I recommend my separate speedrun, where I show you how to complete the game in under 2 hours. Unlock all trophies easily Thanks to the free difficulty level in Silent Hill 2 Remake, you can easily earn the platinum trophy on the easiest mode. Both the puzzle and gameplay difficulty levels have no impact on the trophies, so feel free to set them to easy for a more relaxed platinum run.
