Fancy Samhain: A Copic Marker Illustration

I was hoping to get this up by Halloween....aaaand it's gone. So in the spirit of keeping the holiday alive... dead... immortal.... here's a video treat (not a trick since I wasn't originally planning on recording this one)! Things I learned during this color binge: 1: R39 Garnet, E29 Burnt Umber, R24 Prawn make an awesome hat gradient @_@ 2: Ruffles are scary! 3: Don't leave masking tape on paper for a month...peeling it off is heartbreaking... I fell in like with this picture http://sakurafairy.deviantart.com/art... So I totally used it for inspiration/ a goal. I want to get better at people drawing and coloring skin. Skin is oddly difficult to get right and I find that it can definitely make or break an illustration. Her expression in the original is like, "Minion, please..." *eyeroll*, but I made a multi-liner boo-boo and had to expand her iris so it's looking out at a more level angle instead of up.
