How to make a Cootie Catcher (Origami Fortune Teller) Origami Kids Craft / Easy Paper toy

This video will show you how to make a trap figurine, also known as a paper fortune teller, chatterbox, salt shaker, or helicopter. These are very good boredom remedies and are easy to prepare. Procedure ♡ 1: Prepare your document. To make a fortune teller / cootie catcher, you must use a square-shaped piece of paper. If you have a rectangular piece of paper, you can fold it into a square and cut off the excess. To do this, fold one corner of the paper diagonally until the edges match. There should be a long rectangular piece of unfolded paper at the bottom, which should be removed by cutting or tearing. 2: Decorate one side if you like. 3: Fold the paper lengthwise. Now that your paper is square, fold it in half so the edges line up and you have a rectangular shape. Bend the edge so that the crease is clear and secure. Then unfold the paper again in a square shape. 4: Fold the paper widthwise. When your paper is expanded back to its original square shape, fold it in half again, but this time in the opposite direction to the previous one. Bend the fold to keep it in place, then unfold the square again. There should now be a large cross in the center of the square. 5: Fold the corners towards the center. Walk around the square, bending each corner towards the center. Your previous folding should have a fairly defined center point, so matching the four corners in the center should be easy. You should end up with a (obviously folded) smaller square / diamond shape. 6: Flip the paper over and fold the corners again. Turn over the folded paper so that the previously folded corners are facing down and the flat, smooth top of the paper is facing you. Repeat the above step, folding all the corners inward so that they meet in the center. This will again leave you with a smaller square / diamond shape. 7: Fold the paper in half on each side again. Your kuchi trap is in its final folding stage! Confirm the folds by folding the paper in half in both directions before finishing the basic shape. This will make it easier to open the kuti trap. 8: Pull the tabs towards you. Flip the paper over and you should have four small squares open at the corners. Pull them out and the center should bend inward slightly. Slide your fingers into the empty spaces and you're done! 9: Add your conditions and information to the kuti trap. Typically, the markings should be applied to the three main sections of the sparrow trap. When holding the trap, each of the four corner ridges should be color coded. When you flatten the catcher, the inner tabs should be marked on the outside with a number. Finally, each of the inner tabs should be marked with a good luck / note (with a corresponding number) to be read when opened. TIPS ♡ You can experiment with very large traps as well as very small ones. Make sure the flaps are folded neatly. If you want to make it miniature, don't use stickers. The sticky edge will prevent you from discarding and playing. If you have a rectangular piece of paper, take a ruler and adjust the dimensions. The easiest way to make a kuchi trap is before decorating and applying words and numbers to it. You can experiment with different states. Some of them may be casual and relevant to someone's life, while others may be big and bold, like "you win American Idol and become president of Sweden." Change things up a bit to make things more interesting. WARNINGS ⚠️ They are not intended to insult any religion or religious beliefs, they are intended for entertainment only. Make sure that the fortunes you put into the fortune teller don't upset anyone.
