“Team Taiwan” to participate in 2018 Gay Games in Paris

Taiwan is gearing up to send 25 athletes to the 2018 Gay Games in Paris. They’ll join some 10,000 athletes from over 90 countries. The event is seen as a sort of Olympics for the LGBT community. But while the Olympics requires Taiwanese athletes to participate under the name “Chinese Taipei,” the Gay Games is allowing them to use the name “Taiwan”.
