Sacramento mayor responds to criticism over events continuing after deadly shooting downtown

As the investigation continues, Mayor Darrell Steinberg responded Wednesday to criticism that events like NBA games and theater performances still happened as scheduled on Sunday after a deadly mass shooting killed six people and injured 12 others. Police tape was still blocking off the crime scene near 10th and K Streets during the ongoing shooting investigation on Sunday night while crowds of people were simultaneously showing up in the surrounding area for a fun night out downtown.
