Seekh Kebab were originally known as Shish Kebab and were introduced to India by the Turks. Kebabs can be of various types like beef, lamb, chicken etc. It’s made with many different spices which enhances its flavors and is very popular in South Asia. Here’s the recipe for the restaurant style Beef seekh kebab. #seekhkebabrecipe #seekhkebab #restaurantstyle Ingredients Beef (minced with 20% fat): 500gms Onion (Grinded): 1 medium size Green Chilli: 3-4 pieces Ginger: 2 inche piece Garlic: 4-5 cloves Bread: 1 slice Milk: 2 tbsp Lemon juice: 1 tbsp Carom seeds (ajwain): 1 tsp Coriander & Cumin Powder: 2 tbsp Chilli flakes: 1 tbsp Red chilli powder: 1 tsp Funnel (sonf) seed powder: 1 tsp Garam Masala: 1 tsp Long pepper (pipli): ¼ tsp Salt: 1 tsp/ acc to your taste Pure butter (Ghee): 1 tbsp Oil: 3 tbsp Method • Seekh kebab preparation: removing moisture from onion by squeezing. • Add green chillis, ginger, garlic and grinded onion and minced beef in a chopper/mixer and mix it. • Take a slice of bread and add milk to it for later use. • Add lemon juice, carom seeds (ajwain), coriander & cumin powder, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, funnel (sonf) seed powder, garam masala, long pepper (pipli), salt and moisturized bread in the beef mixture and mix/ grind it for 5 mins. • Then add Pure butter (ghee) and knead it for 2-3 mins then freeze it for 20mins. • Dip hands in water and then make kebab on skewers with equal sizes. • Add oil on pan and fry kebab on medium heat on every sides until its done. • For smoked flavor, add a burning coal and cover it with lid for 5 mins. • Tempting beef seekh kebabs are ready to serve with Raita and Salad.
