After eighteen months, COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the world, and we continue learning more on the evolution of this disease. Many people who have recovered from COVID-19 still experience some symptoms months after the infection; this is called “long COVID. In this presentation, Dr. Helene Calvet, CMMB Volunteer and infectious disease specialist with over 20 years of experience in local public health, described what is currently known about short and long effects of COVID-19, and guest speakers shared their experiences living with long COVID.
