Summer catchers is yet another beautifully pixelated indie game on the Nintendo Switch, but is it really worth your time and money? Totally! Well, that is assuming you like unique genre-blending indie games with sweet characters, life lessons, and amazing audio-visual presentations. On the other hand, as it is a nearly Rogue-lite Endless Runner style game, the random generation of levels and randomized item access does create quite a bit of repetitious 'trial and error' when fulfulling smaller quests or challenging the game's bosses. That being said, at least for me, there was more than enough about this little indie to keep me coming back, despite the inevitable frustration that randomness can generate.
