Thoughts On Today's Verse: When life gets in the way, we wish we could go back to being kids. Then, perhaps, we'd have someone to look after us and safeguard us from our anxieties and fears. God's constancy comes to us in the form of a promise in our confused and chaotic environment. God reaches down and takes our hand in his, like a caring dad with a scared kid. "Don't be afraid. I'm here with you. I'll help," he assures us. Let's Pray: Holy and Mighty God, Please let me have faith that you are there and Father, whose presence and help are always near. I admit that you have made me feel lonely at times in my life because you have seemed distant. Please, by your Spirit, remind me of your presence and concern.
