Gameplay Description: Armored Edition gameplay was done on New Game Plus setting, which is the highest difficulty level achieved by winning the game on Normal and Hard settings only. B.A.T Suit: The game features Batman's Battle Armored Tech suit which utilizes combat kinetic energy that accumulates during combat, specifically when striking an opponent or receiving damage by melee attacks from opponents. When the energy reaches full capacity, the player can unleash the suits B.A.T mode, where the suits energy enhances the strikes of the user. It is an especially useful feature to use against thugs with defensive resources such as body armor, shields, and stun rods, allowing the user to easily break through these defenses. However, once B.A.T mode is activated, all energy stores will gradually dissipate until it loses all energy. The female prototype version is used by Catwoman. Story: Six months after the events of Joker's take-over of Arkham Asylum that was foiled by the Batman, Quincy Sharp, former Warden of Arkham Asylum, has been elected as Gotham City Mayor. Not long after, Mayor Quincy had made a controversial plan to rid Gotham of crime once and for all. Using the very heart of Gotham, Sharp makes arrangements to construct a site that would be a prison much larger than the Arkham Asylum and Blackgate Prison put together. The new site has been named Arkham City. The driving force in Arkham City's development and operations is a man named Professor Hugo Strange, who granted full authority to run Arkham City under the mysterious Tyger Operatives who act as new law enforcers for Arkham City. Bruce Wayne, who sees the site as highly dangerous due to holding the most dangerous criminals in the world, leads a campaign to have Arkham City shut down for the safety of Gotham Cititzens. Unfortunately, Wayne is taken captive by Tyger Officers under Hugo Strange's orders, and to make matters worse, Hugo Strange has made it clear that he knows that Bruce Wayne and Batman are one and the same. Strange declares that a mysterious operation known as protocol 10 would ensure that he will succeed in ways that neither Bruce Wayne or Batman could not achieve. When it becomes clear that Arkham City is the site of a dark plan, Bruce must once again take the mantle as the Dark Knight in order to put a stop Hugo Strange's evil plans. Summary: Batman makes his way towards the Iceberg Lounge where the Penguin lies in wait with Mr. Freeze's ice gun. Penguin uses it to assault both the Batman and the police officers that are held in custody by Penguin and his thugs. Before he can proceed to hunt down Cobblepot, Batman searches for and rescue the remaining police officers, and surprisingly, has found Mr. Freeze, who is held prisoner inside a heated lock-up keeping himself alive with the remains of his freezing gear. After Batman frees him, Freeze reluctantly (after some harsh persuasion) agrees to assist Batman in overriding Freezes weapons and finishing Joker's cure for the blood toxin. Batman rescues more officers from Penguins thugs and gains the necessary override chip to jam Mr. Freezes gun. Batman confronts the Penguin in the Iceberg Lounge, and successfully takes Cobblepot down after Freeze's override chip jams the Ice Gun.
