David walks you through step by step how to create and decorate a Christmas Mantle piece. Step 1: Fluff your garland by separating the pieces so your garland looks alive and not squashed and compact. We are using a 9x18 Lighted Mixed Garland. Step 2: Don't be afraid to add garland to garland. He adds two of our Magnolia Leaf Garlands and two of our Red Mini Berry Garlands to the Pine Garland. Step 3: Lace a nice wired ribbon throughout the garland avoiding straight lines. All of our ribbon are packaged in 10 yard rolls and are wired. The one featured is our Red/Green Plaid Ribbon. Step 4: Add ornaments following and up and down approach throughout the garland. Add as many or as few as you like. The ornaments used in this video are our Red Faux Mercury Glass Ornaments. The ornaments look breakable, but they are made of acrylic and are very durable. Step 5: Add holly or any other stem you choose in various areas to give a contrast in color. Several 21" Variegated Holly Berry Sprays are used in this mantle piece. The items seen in our video can be found at: www.davidchristophers.com Let us know if you have any questions.
