In this week's video, we finish Section 2 of the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR), from Butler Wash Road to Blanding UT. The scenery along Butler Wash Road is beautiful in the spring, with many of the Cottonwood trees getting vibrant green leaves. The Comb Ridge forms an impressive backdrop in the west with white rocks built up into fascinating wave structures. This is a busier portion of the route and we find we have to pull off the road to allow a cowgirl to herd a large group up cattle up the road. We also find a location that has a dinosaur footprint, but we are pretty comical as we struggle to find the footprint. We hope you enjoy this video.
