[NEW HARDEST] Wasureta by HelpegasuS & More | 100% (Extreme Demon)

Oct. 28, 2023 - Oct. 17, 2025, a nearly 2 year journey finally over. Vid with Clicks:    • Wasureta 100% (Clicks / No Intro)   My Experience ---- To say my history with this level is complicated would be underselling it quite a bit. Obviously I was not playing it for anywhere near the entire 2 years, but I picked this up nearly two years ago while I was still hopping from random out of reach level to random out of reach level doing random runs on things because I was allergic to beating new hardests at the time, and I got 66% in about a month, maybe a bit less. For reasons I'll talk about in the level review section of this description, I eventually grew quite tired of the level and ended up sort of shadow dropping it sometime in November (I believe?) 2023. If I had known 2.2 would come out just a month later, I would have tried pushing through. The physics changes in 2.2 throttled all of the consistency I had built up before, and so I did not try playing it again until later in 2024. After a small reunion with the level in 2024, I would quickly drop it again until April 2025, where I would get bored and actually decide to try it again for realsies. I managed to get a new best of 75% then, as well as do 37-100 and 17-95, but I just couldn't get myself to finish it and dropped it again. Fast forward to yesterday, and I would pick the level up another time. Yesterday, I got 85%, and today got 95% and 93% shortly afterwards. After a break I would come back and finally beat it, just shy of 2 years after I originally picked it up. I honestly never really thought I would see this completion happen, I still can't really believe I did it. The Level ---- I want to like this level, and I did for the first couple of weeks I played it, but its issues quickly made themselves apparent. The absolute biggest roadblock for me throughout my entire time with the level was the 50% wave and the 57% ship. The 50% wave was always a massive chokepoint for me, especially because of the D block line that traps you and kills you if you touch it, making the mini wave gap there much, much tighter than it looks. I would have more deaths however to the 57% ship/straightfly. These two chokepoints may have denied me possibly 100+ attempts to Isanes part. Most attempts past the predrop would die to one of these two chokepoints, and it just became too much for me to mentally handle, hence all of the times I dropped the level. What was extra unfortunate was that my consistency with the rest of the level was quite good, but I could never use any of it because of the middle chokepoints. This is not to say that my consistency with the ending was always great, though. In pretty much every session it would be random whether I would be competent at the last 25% or not, which would kill a lot of runs from early on in the level. Ignoring the two middle chokepoints, the rest of the level flows quite nicely aside from a few janky/buggy clicks.
